South Dakota Church Sign Fail

by Pam on September 3, 2008

I spent Labor Day weekend in South Dakota visiting my family.  The highlights included going to Philip, South Dakota (where I got to go to the Vetrinarian/Liquor Store…get your saddle and box of wine in one place!) and shooting a fully automatic MAC 10 45 caliber with a silencer.  It’s amazing to shoot 30 rounds in a matter of seconds while needing no ear protection at all.

But, the real gem of the weekend was the sign outside the church by my parents’ house.  Once when I was younger this sign said “Let us help you with death”.  I only wish I got a picture of that one.  But luckily I did get a picture of this one.  Obviously the church staff can’t count past 4 since they think grace is a four-letter word.

hahaha….South Dakota sign watch is one of my favorite games!

On my drive out here I saw one in eastern SoDak that said…..

Sins will cause dead

I am not sure if they didn’t finish there thought or if they just have horrible grammer…I would bet money on it being the grammar

HAHAHA That’s really funny. :)

Sadly, at first I didn’t even see the problem… Derr…

Haha it’s ok I drove past it a few times before I noticed too. But, in their defense, maybe the sign is just directed towards a woman named Grace. “Try these four-letter words, Grace: love, pray” haha
