Just a few short benefits of Twhirl are that it is a desktop app so you can be active on twitter without dealing with a browser if you don’t want, the display is cleaner and nicer than the twitter page, you get notifications when new tweets arrive if twhirl isn’t your active window, and you don’t have to refresh a page to see new tweets…they just show up, if you mouse over someone’s icon you can reply/DM/favorite or retweet easily.
